Nancy’s Private Fused Glass Class

A 3-hour private fused glass class arranged by Nancy Friedhoff. Students will be introduced to the art of glass fusing and each will design and assemble a fused glass, hammock shaped sushi plate. After class student pieces will be undergo two overnight kiln firings.  The first to fuse the multiple pieces of glass that make up the design into a single flat piece of glass.  The second to slump the flat glass into its final shape of the piece using a ceramic mold. Projects will be available for pick-up about a week after class to allow for kiln firing time. The class fee includes studio time, instruction by glass artist Glenn Evans, materials, and kiln-firing.
