As magical as Mother Nature herself, metal clay paste lets you make pure silver, exact replicas of delicate leaves, quirky twigs, and elegant seed pods. In one short class students will learn to select appropriate pods, leaves, and other natural objects for this process, coat the objects with silver clay, and also discuss finishing and polishing. Once your pieces are fired and polished, you’ll have an heirloom piece of jewelry to enjoy or gift to someone special!
Students will have time to finish one to three pieces, depending on the complexity of their design.
Students will pick up finished piece one week after class to allow for firing.
