Play with colorful glass and learn about glass fusing – the magical interaction of glass and heat. Make whimsical glass-art for your yard or garden, flowers, birds, and other easy projects that are prefect for this one day workshop. Learn to cut, layer and design art glass, and how the glass reacts in the kiln to create design elements. We’ll use embellishments and inclusions, and cover safety practices as well. Student may add hardware after firing to transform their art glass into pieces that can be displayed outdoors.
Pieces will be fired after the workshop and ready to pick up one week after class.
