Fused Glass Garden Art

Sun, Oct 03, 2021 -- 1:00 PM-4:00 PM at Creator Haven LLC

Fused Glass Garden Stakes by Pat Evans

Play with colorful glass and learn about  glass fusing – the magical interaction of glass and heat – as you make whimsical glass-art for your yard or garden. Create abstract patterns, or springtime garden imagery in this easy project that is perfect for this one day workshop. Learn to cut, layer and design art glass, and how the glass reacts in the kiln to create design elements. We’ll use embellishments and inclusions, and cover safety practices as well.

Students may add hardware after firing to transform their art glass into pieces that can be displayed outdoors.

No experience necessary!

If time permits students may make a second piece in class for an additional $20 materials fee paid to the instructor.

Finished pieces will be ready for pickup 1 week after class to allow time for kiln firing.

One class meeting: Sunday, October 3, 1:00-4:00pm
Creator Haven, 41-B Hangar Way, Watsonville
$55 Tuition (Early Bird and Bring a Friend discounts available) plus $40 Materials Kit Fee
