This is a great opportunity to design and create a unique 11-inch diameter round bowl or a 7 X 12-inch rectangular dish, choosing from one of our ceramic molds to define the final shape of your piece. Decorative components including frit, stringer, iridescent glass, and cane may be used to enhance your design. You will learn about the properties of glass and fused glass, glass types, color selection, glass cutting, and project assembly so that you can create beautiful, finished products.
Materials fee includes use of all tools, kiln firing, glass, and consumable supplies. Finished pieces are kiln fired and slumped into bowl shapes after the class session and they are available for pickup one week after the class.
No experience required! Wear comfortable clothes and closed-toe shoes. Class size is limited to 6 so register early!
Please note that all students who participate in classes offered at Creator Haven must be vaccinated, and will be asked to confirm their vaccination status when they arrive. Students will also be asked to complete additional health and safety forms upon arrival.
