Whether you want to learn or improve your bezel-setting skills, granulation technique, loop-in-loop chain making, or make custom clasps, this workshop with classically trained goldsmith Lynette Cederquist is for you. In the laid-back spirit of summer, we invite you to choose what you want to learn and how many and which days you want to work with Lynette. Lynette will give individual attention to each student to help you achieve your jewelry-making goals.
If your interest is granulation, you will focus of the basics of granulation: building bezels, placement of granules, fusing, and stone setting. We will also cover tools and materials specific to this timeless art form. We recommend you plan on at least 2 days for this subject.
For bezel setting, learn tips and tricks to set your favorite sea glass or cabochons, accent the bezels with piercing and, if desired, wire accents.
Loop-in-loop chain will focus on learning the tricks of different versions of loop-in-loop chain. If you need soldering practice, this is the class for you!!
Naturally, the more days you attend, the more in-depth teaching you’ll receive.
